  Massage Techniques

  

  Rub and massage the soles of the feet with your hands.

  

  Massage Methods

  

  ⒈Sit on a stool, lift one leg and place it on the opposite thigh. Use one hand to pull and stretch the toes while the other hand rubs and massages the sole of the foot until it feels warm. Alternate between both sides.

  

  ⒉Sit on a stool, lift one leg and place it on the opposite thigh. Use both hands to rub and massage the area below the ankle until it feels warm. Alternate between both sides.

  

  ⒊Sit on a stool, lift one leg and place it on the opposite thigh. Use one hand to pull and stretch the toes while the other hand supports the heel. Move the ankle joint back and forth for 3 minutes. Alternate between both sides.

  Precautions

  

  ⒈Before massaging the feet, soak them in warm water and rub them together with both feet or use your hands to rub the feet. After 5-15 minutes, dry them with a towel before massaging for better results.

  

 

  ⒉During the foot massage, it is recommended to clear your mind, calm your emotions, and close your eyes to relax.

  

  ⒊Try to massage a larger area, including the entire sole or even the top of the foot.

  

  ⒋If the foot massage is done before bedtime, it can also help prevent and treat insomnia and improve sleep quality.

  

  ⒌You can also combine this with acupressure on the Yongquan points on both sides of the foot.
