Safflower Harvest: A Season of Medicinal Gold

January 24, 2024

Every year from May to June, when the safflower petals turn from yellow to red, flower farmers seize the opportunity to engage in picking, sun-drying, shade-drying, or oven-drying, and then sell the safflower at purchasing stations for money. Safflower is used in medicine to promote blood circulation, regulate menstruation, disperse blood stasis, and alleviate pain. It is suitable for conditions such as menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, and postpartum lochia retention.
