The small flower pedicels are slender, with scale-like bracts at the base. The calyx is yellow-green, with 5 toothed lobes at the apex. When observed under a magnifying glass, the petals are yellow-green. The anthers are elliptical, dorsal, longitudinally split, and there are 2 pistils at the base, fused together. The plant is light and has a clear fragrance, with a slightly sweet and bitter taste.
High-quality Sanqi flower
Large, well-shaped, clean, and odorless buds; clusters of buds with vibrant green color and low moisture content are preferred.
Three-year flowers are better than two-year flowers
Three-year flowers are larger, with thicker stems, and have a deeper color and stronger taste after brewing.
