Cupping Therapy: Considerations for Patients with Physical Weakness or Medical Conditions

1. Patients who are physically weak, have loss of skin elasticity, or have protruding spinal bones on their back should preferably not undergo cupping therapy, or it is not suitable to perform cupping therapy on their back.

2. Patients with heart diseases such as myocardial infarction or angina, or those with edema, hemophilia, or bleeding tendencies should not use cupping therapy.

3. Cupping therapy should not be used on children or elderly patients who are weak and have multiple illnesses.
