How to get a headache after a nap

In order to make the afternoon work or study more efficient, most people have the habit of napping. But sometimes there will be a headache after waking up from a nap, instead of making people unable to concentrate on work or study, there are many reasons for the headache, so what can be done to relieve the headache after the nap, and better put into the afternoon work and study?

Hot compress on the forehead or wash your face with warm water

After the nap, you can use a hot towel directly on the forehead, the headache will be relieved. You can press it lightly while applying heat. Washing your face with warm water can make your mind clear.

Massage on acupuncture points

You can massage these acupoints to relieve headache, and rub some cooling oil when massaging the solar plexus.

Simply move around

After waking up from a nap, you can go out for a jog or a slow walk, or you can do some simple exercises to keep yourself awake for a few minutes, which is useful for relieving headaches.

Tea to relieve headache

Hot salty lemon tea: cut 1~2 slices of fresh lemon, put a little salt and mix with boiling water, then drink.

Pay attention to the time of napping

Pay attention to the time in the usual nap, 15 to 30 minutes is the most appropriate, preferably not more than an hour, too long may lead to headaches. If the phenomenon of headache occurs for a long time, you should promptly seek medical attention for appropriate medication.
