The hazards of haze running

Damage to the lungs

Once the sulfur dioxide and ammonia oxides in the haze are inhaled, it will enter the alveoli with the airway, damaging the lungs and impeding the normal gas exchange between the lungs, leading to asthma and lung cancer.

Induced rhinitis

Haze weather when running, the nasal cavity will inhale a large amount of dust, particles, pollutants, once inhaled nasal cavity, will stimulate and destroy the nasal mucosa, so that the nasal cavity becomes dry, reduce the defense ability of the nasal mucosa, inducing rhinitis, sinusitis, nasal mucositis and other nasal diseases.

Accelerate the hardening of blood vessels

The pollutants inhaled by running on a hazy day will greatly increase and harm the endothelium of blood vessels. Haze contains a large amount of dust, pathogenic microorganisms, etc. When these pollutants enter the blood with the human respiratory system, they cause slow damage to the endothelial cells of blood vessels and accelerate the formation of vascular atherosclerosis.

Inducing vascular spasm

When running in cold and humid haze air, cold air is inhaled into the human body, the blood vessels in the human body cannot adapt to the sudden cold stimulation, making the blood vessels narrow, inducing easy to induce vasospasm.

Induced increase in blood pressure

When running in hazy days, in addition to inducing cardiovascular diseases when the temperature is low, it will also cause depression and restlessness due to low air pressure and dull air, which will induce blood pressure to rise in middle and old people.
