April 14, 2023
In March, when everything comes to life, the physiology of people also undergoes strange changes. Some people start to feel depressed after entering spring, often yawning and drowsy; some people can't wake up in the morning and are mentally strained, etc. These situations are what we often call "spring sleepiness". How can we deal with spring sleepiness?

Room ventilation

Fresh air circulation in the living room can help improve the quality of sleep. In winter, when the outdoor temperature is low and the window opening time is relatively small, the indoor air is easily not circulated and the oxygen content is reduced and harmful gases such as carbon dioxide are increased, which will encourage the occurrence of spring sleepiness and make people feel dizzy and sleepy. Keeping the air indoors can help overcome spring sleepiness.

Cultivate hobbies

Cultivating good hobbies is good for physical and mental health. In particular, liking to raise flowers and plants can help enhance endurance, the temperature of the body's skin will drop by about 1 degree Celsius, the time to eliminate fatigue will be shortened by about 80%, and it can also help adjust the body's condition. Cultivating a hobby that is good for the body and mind is also an effective way to overcome springtime sleepiness.

Combine work and rest

Paying attention to the combination of work and rest can help the left hemisphere to get proper rest. If springtime sleepiness strikes, you can first put the work at hand, listen to music, do gymnastics can let the left hemisphere rest properly, the right brain hemisphere can be active and use. The most important thing is that exercise can make the body's oxygen consumption of the largest amount of brain timely replenishment and supply, which is conducive to the removal of spring sleepy labor.

Diet regulation

The human body's metabolism is enhanced in spring, so the diet should be properly increased with some protein-rich foods, such as chicken, fish, meat, eggs, soy products, as well as fresh vegetables and fruits to meet the normal needs of the body. Also note that if spring sleepiness strikes, you can drink green tea and coffee in moderation to increase the excitability of the central nervous system to relieve spring sleepiness.

Exercise

Exercise in spring can accelerate the heart rate, promote blood circulation and improve the body's function of oxygen utilization. However, it should be noted that after a winter recuperation, exercise should pay attention to reasonable arrangements, overload exercise is not conducive to health. If you have time, you can use the weekend to go on excursions to get in the mood and lift the spring sleep.

Proper nap

Every day at noon for 10 minutes to 30 minutes of napping can help the body to fully rest, eliminate fatigue and improve the efficiency of the afternoon. Nap time to note that it is best to be able to half an hour after the meal, the best conditions to choose a lying position to help improve the quality of sleep, but also to avoid indigestion.

Stretching

Stretching is a good way to overcome "spring sleepiness". If you feel sleepy, try stretching your back to help stretch your whole body and effectively eliminate sleepiness. Because the time to stretch the human chest to the heart and lungs to squeeze, to help the heart more fully exercise, so it will be able to provide more oxygen to the organs, especially when the brain has more oxygen supply, people will also feel awake. Commuters often stretching is also a good way to restore fatigue and relax the body.

Other methods
