what are the causes of moles on face

April 11, 2023
As we all know, moles are very common in the normal human body, from those that grow at birth to those that show up slowly after birth. When I was young, I heard that "moles on the body are the poop of birds." This is of course a joke, but how do moles form?

Inborn genetic factors

Some people are genetically more prone to pigmentation than others, which makes them more likely to develop moles. There is also autosomal inheritance, where rice-grain sized spots appear that are heavy in spring and summer and light in fall and winter, and this is likely to occur in girls over the age of 5.

Endocrine disorder

The function of the body's endocrine system also has an impact on the formation of moles. Hormonal changes in the body during puberty, female physiological period or pregnancy may cause endocrine disorders, which may increase the possibility of mole formation during this period.

Excessive exposure to UV rays

Exposing the skin to strong ultraviolet radiation for a long time may lead to melanin formation and pigmentation, thus leading to the formation of moles. Moreover, strong UV radiation may also darken the color of the originally light spots on the face to form moles.

Bad life habits

Being under a lot of stress in life, or lack of sleep or low quality of sleep for a long period of time can lead to impaired skin function and formation of moles. In addition, poor diet can also lead to the formation of moles due to the rise of internal heat and the accumulation of toxins.

Influence of neurological factors

People who are depressed and emotionally unstable for a long time are also prone to the formation of moles. When you are emotionally unstable, the melanocyte hormone secreted by the pituitary gland will increase, which will lead to the increase of melanin and the formation of pigmentation to form spots and moles.
