April 11, 2023
Have a beautiful and suitable hair, is the beginning of beauty, and a unique hair color, but also to highlight the personality, we should pay attention to health at the same time in the pursuit of fashion and beauty, that dyeing hair is not any harm and bad effects?

Change hair quality

Hair coloring can affect the imbalance of water in the hair, and cause a large number of protein denaturation and reduction. This causes the hair to become brittle and the fibers to break, thus losing its natural softness, toughness and lustrous beauty. The more times you dye your hair, the more severe the damage. Therefore, you should not dye your hair more than 2 times a year.

Causes hair loss

Hair dye can stimulate inflammation of hair follicles, and frequent hair dyeing will lead to shrinkage of hair follicles over time, and hair will turn from thick to thin and even fall out. Adding some scalp-protecting ingredients when you dye your hair can reduce the damage of hair dyes to your hair.

Skin allergy

Hair dye can cause contact dermatitis, skin allergy, the light scalp itching, redness, swelling, oozing, the serious consequences such as pimples, blisters, and even epidermal slackening, necrosis. Before hair dyeing, you need to do skin test on hair dye, put the hair dye product drops on the inside of your wrist and wait for the air to dry, if there is redness, swelling and itching, you cannot use it.

Carcinogenic

Hair dyes are chemically synthesized and contain harmful chemicals that can cause cancer such as aniline and phenol; 1% of these chemicals are absorbed by the skin and accumulate in the body, they will combine with cells and cause damage to DNA of deoxyribonucleic acid, causing cell mutation and inducing skin cancer, bladder cancer, breast cancer, lymphoma, leukemia, etc. Women should not dye their hair during pregnancy or in preparation for pregnancy.

Chronic poisoning

Some metal hair dyes, containing lead acetate and silver nitrate, can cause poisoning once they enter the body and accumulate in the body over time, causing dizziness, headache, tiredness and numbness in the limbs, and may enter the liver, kidneys and brain, damaging the functions of these organs.

How to reduce the harm

1. Avoid repeated hair dyeing within three months, and dye your hair no more than two times a year at most. 2, avoid permanent hair dye: 1-2 days after dyeing hair off color for semi-permanent, then 2 weeks later off color for permanent hair dye, the darker the color of permanent hair dye, the greater the toxic substances contained, the greater the harm to the human body. 3, hair dyeing parts should be at least 1-2 cm away from the scalp. 4、After hair dyeing, wash thoroughly more times to wash off all the hair dyeing substances, and do not scratch your scalp hard to avoid scratching and causing infection. 5、Try to choose hair dyeing products from regular and well-known manufacturers.

Tips

The fewer times you dye your hair, the better, partial pick dyeing is less harmful than full dyeing, for people with scalp wounds, allergies, pregnant women, etc., it is not advisable to dye your hair.
