What are the hazards of mole spotting

April 11, 2023
It is a normal thing to have moles on your body, but many people have moles on their faces and hands because they affect their beauty. While using various methods to spot moles can help restore the beauty of the face, it is not known that spotting moles can also be harmful.

Melanoma spread

Some moles may be melanoma in the early stage. Early melanoma only stays in the epidermis, so if a mole is spotted without determining whether it is a melanoma, it may turn the original early stage melanoma into the middle stage and accelerate the spread of melanoma.

Skin pigmentation

If a mole is not spotted in a regular medical beauty institution and the mole spotting solution is used without authorization, the chemicals contained in the solution may cause corrosive effects on the skin, which may lead to accelerated pigmentation in the area after the spotting, and in serious cases, may cause pathological changes in the skin and even disfigurement.

Infection and inflammation of the wound

Mole removal will cause trauma to the skin, and if the daily care is not proper, the wound will easily become infected and inflamed. In addition, if you do not pay attention to your diet after mole removal, it may also cause pigmentation, such as soy sauce, vinegar and other colorful foods should be avoided.

Scars may remain

No matter what method is used for mole spotting, if the care process is not correct, it is easy to leave scars, especially the medicated mole spotting, because the so-called medicated mole spotting is to use medicated water to corrode or cauterize the tissue of the part where the mole is located, and this operation will make a small pit appear at the original location of the mole. Theoretically, this area will recover after a period of time, but if the care in between is not proper, it is easy to leave scars.

Which moles should be spotted

After the previous introduction, we also know that the harm brought by mole spotting is due to improper operation of mole spotting and the use of chemical potion; secondly, the failure to diagnose melanoma before mole spotting; thirdly, the wound infection and inflammation caused by improper care after mole spotting. Then, for those who want to spot moles, which moles should be spotted? 1. for moles in the position of easy friction can be dotted off, long-term friction is likely to cause cancer. 2. For pigmented moles with rapid enlargement, darkening color and abnormal changes on the surface and around the mole, they can be punctured. The most important thing is that the mole must be removed by proper medical treatment after medical examination and diagnosis.

There are several methods of mole spotting

Mole spotting with medicine

According to the size and depth of the mole, a water droplet-like ointment will be put on the mole, and a circle of white will appear around the ointment after 10 minutes.

Laser Mole Removal

Laser mole removal uses the characteristics of laser which can instantly explode huge energy to remove or destroy pigmented tissues, so that the pigment can be broken up, decomposed and swallowed by macrophages and discharged out of the body with lymphatic circulation to achieve the purpose of mole removal.

Electrocautery method

The electrocautery method is suitable for removing moles with a diameter of 0.3 to 0.5 cm. It uses the principle of electrothermal high-temperature cauterization to remove moles by charring them after they are fully cauterized. Easy to operate to do, but requires an experienced person to operate, otherwise it will leave scars.

Surgical excision method

Surgical excision of the diseased tissue around the mole. This method can be chosen to remove part or all of the diseased tissue and can be done in different ways depending on the nature of the mole. However, it is difficult, takes more time and may leave scars after surgery, so this method is rarely used for general moles.

What to pay attention to after mole spotting

1. Within a week after mole removal, do not get water on the mole, keep the scab dry to recover faster and better, and do not use facial cleanser, body wash, soap or stimulating skin care products after mole removal. 2. Light diet: After mole removal, the diet must be light, and you can eat more vegetables and fruits rich in vitamin C and foods containing collagen to help promote wound recovery. 3. Don't eat food with pigment, stimulating food, spicy food, etc. to avoid abnormal pigmentation and scarring. 4, pay attention to sun protection, to avoid ultraviolet light to accelerate the synthesis of pigment, pigment accumulation and scarring, etc. 5, do not touch with your hands, and do not wear a mask to avoid bacterial infection. 6、Don't pick up the scab or loosen it in advance, it will directly harm the mole spot and affect the recovery effect of mole spotting, so you must wait patiently for the scab to fall off naturally after mole spotting. 7、After the scabs fall off naturally, you also need to take care of them, don't use any products to wipe the new skin, don't wash the new skin after mole spotting, let the new skin grow quietly for 7-15 days, then you won't worry about it after growing old.
