How to protect the eyes of computer people

March 27, 2023
We all understand that computer workers are prone to many occupational diseases, such as cervical spondylosis, computer hand, eye diseases, etc.. The eyes are the windows to the soul, how should computer people protect their eyes from harm? Please see the following computer eye care tips introduced by Mei Mei.

Adjust the display screen

The key to eye protection for frequent computer users is to adjust the display screen to a position 10-20 cm lower when the eyes are level, which reduces the chance of eyelid lift. Generally in front of the computer, the number of blinks when focusing on the screen will drop from 22 times per minute to 7 times, unknowingly making the surface of the eye too much tear evaporation, aggravating eye dryness, so in addition to giving the eyes more rest, but also often blink to moisten the eyes.

Hot water humidification

Autumn air is dry, the skin is prone to dehydration, and the eyes are especially prone to dehydration, so put a cup of hot water in the computer fat can increase the surrounding humidity to reduce eye discomfort.

Acupressure, massage around the eyes

Above the eyes, slowly move your fingers from the corner to the end of the eyes and use your thumbs to press the temples; gently lift your middle finger from the end of the eye to the top of the eye; then place your index and middle fingers under the eyes and slowly move them from the end to the corner of the eye, pressing the eyelids can effectively protect your eyes.

Carrot and orange juice

This is a perfect drink to protect your eyes and eliminate fatigue. Peel and wash the carrots, cut them into small strips and squeeze the juice in a juicer. Then peel the orange and break it into small cloves; put both into the juicer and finally add lemon juice. People who spend a lot of time using computers need carotenoids, known as the "guardian of the eyes", vitamin B1, vitamin C and vitamin E. The eyes are the most strenuous organ in the body, no matter what you do except sleep, so eye care is very important, especially for computer users. In daily life, you should pay attention to resting your eyes and pay attention to the intake of carotenoids and vitamins in your diet.
