What are the warm-up exercises

March 23, 2023
It's time to start running, as it was in school. The teacher in gym class always wants you to move your body before you start running. In fact, jogging is different from running, not so intense sports action. However, it is not a bad idea to take precautions. For jogging, after all, is a running sport, I hope the following mentioned warm-up exercises can help you.

Why warm-up exercise

The first thing we need to know is that it is important to warm up before exercising. A good warm-up is a good start to exercise, it can make your leg muscles vascular into the exercise state, so that you can provide sufficient oxygen to prepare for the exercise. Secondly, it can help your muscles to enter the exercise state, so that you can maintain the muscle level at a more ideal level when exercising. There is also a more critical point is that warm-up exercises can help your heart to enter the state in advance, to avoid excessive stress on the heart during exercise.

Warm-up exercises for the feet

In my opinion, although jogging exercises the feet, but for the muscles, it is the movement that drives the muscles of the whole body. So the warm-up exercise should start from the head, neck, shoulder, waist, hip, knee, ankle and toe should not be spared. The main thing can be a rotational exercise for it, so that you can move open joints.

Warm-up exercises for ligaments

The main warm-up exercise for ligaments is to stretch the tropical flexibility. Try lunge presses, side kicks, front kicks, etc.

More intense warm-up exercises

Perform a higher intensity, higher density activity program like high leg raising, lunge jumping to mobilize the whole body. In fact, no matter what kind of way you choose to warm up before jogging is not a problem. The so-called warm-up is to be able to move your muscles and bones locally before exercise. Jogging itself is more moderate, but for the joints of the legs and waist, muscle warm-up is still necessary, otherwise it is easy to occur sports injuries.
