Achieving Natural-Looking Eyelashes: 6 Steps for Perfect False Lash Application

October 28, 2023

Applying false eyelashes can make your eyes appear larger, but if they are not applied correctly, they may look fake and unnatural, affecting the overall beauty of your eyes. So, how can you apply false eyelashes to achieve a natural look? Follow these six steps to create beautiful and natural-looking eyelashes.

Step 1: Trim the false lashes

Trim the false eyelashes to fit your own eyelash length. Generally, we measure the length by placing the false eyelashes on our eyes and then trim them accordingly. This will make the effect look more natural.

Step 2: Soften the false lashes

After trimming the false eyelashes, you can wrap them around your index finger to soften the curve. This will make the effect appear more natural when applied.

Step 3: Apply eyelash glue

Evenly apply the prepared eyelash glue onto the false eyelashes. To ensure a secure hold, you can apply extra glue at the inner and outer corners of the eyes.

Step 4: Apply the false lashes

After applying the eyelash glue, start applying the false eyelashes. Generally, we start by attaching the middle part of the false lashes, which helps to anchor them in place, and then slowly attach the inner and outer corners. You can use tweezers to assist in applying the false eyelashes. Finally, press the lashes with the tweezers a few times to ensure they are secure and well-attached.

Step 5: Use an eyelash curler

After successfully applying the false eyelashes, use an eyelash curler to make them blend in with your natural lashes. This will create a more natural curve and help the false and real lashes adhere together seamlessly.

Step 6: Use an eyeliner pencil

Lastly, use an eyeliner pencil to tidy up any excess glue from the application process and to conceal the transparent stem of the false lashes. Avoid applying too much eyeliner, as it should only be used to cover any visible traces of the false lashes.
