Many male friends nowadays are passive smokers, some because of work needs, others because of socializing. The hazards of smoking are well known to everyone. So, how can we quit smoking easily in our daily lives? Below, I will teach you the method of using traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture to quit smoking.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture: Choose the Right Acupoints to Quit Smoking Easily

Acupuncture to quit smoking generally involves using the Wang Bu Liao Xing acupoint, along with body acupuncture, with treatments scheduled 2-3 times a week. According to traditional Chinese medicine, the ear is not just a isolated auditory organ. From a holographic perspective, the auricle is like an inverted fetus, representing a miniature version of the human body. It is closely connected to various parts of the body, such as the internal organs, skin, and limbs, through meridians. Additionally, the ear has a rich distribution of nerves. Therefore, by gently and persistently stimulating certain parts of the ear that correspond to specific areas of the body, it can regulate overall bodily functions.

Usually, the doctor selects acupoints on the ear that correspond to the lungs, mouth, stomach, spleen, and other areas of the body. The acupoints are pressed using the Wang Bu Liao Xing herbal medicine, which is fixed with adhesive tape. The acupoints are pressed with the index finger and thumb until a sour or tingling sensation is felt. In winter, the acupoints can be left on the ear for 5-7 days, while in summer, they can be left for about 3 days. If they fall off, they can be replaced at any time at the hospital. After pressing the ear acupoints, body acupuncture can be used to enhance the therapeutic effect.
