Good complexion often reflects a healthy physical condition. Hegu: Hegu is located between the first and second metacarpal bones on the back of the hand, close to the midpoint of the second metacarpal bone. Hegu acupoint is an important point where the original qi of the hand Yangming large intestine meridian converges. The "Four General Acupoints Song" says "Hegu controls the face and mouth," which means that Hegu acupoint has the function of treating facial diseases because it can dredge the local meridians and qi and blood.
Back acupoints: Geshu is located 1.5 inches away from the lower edge of the 7th thoracic vertebra. Gan Shu is located 1.5 inches away from the lower edge of the 9th thoracic vertebra. Shen Shu is located 1.5 inches away from the lower edge of the 2nd lumbar vertebra. Pi Shu is located 1.5 inches away from the lower edge of the 11th thoracic vertebra. Moxibustion on these acupoints can enhance the body's metabolism, promote blood circulation, and eliminate edema.
Taixi: Located on the medial side of the foot, behind the medial malleolus, in the depression between the medial malleolus and Achilles tendon. Moxibustion on this acupoint can nourish yin and tonify the kidneys.
Shuifen: Located 1 inch above the navel. This acupoint can help flatten the abdomen and eliminate fat, while also eliminating edema.
Sanyinjiao: Located 3 inches above the inner ankle, behind the medial edge of the tibia. Moxibustion on this acupoint can adjust the body's yin and yang balance and regulate endocrine.
When doing beauty moxibustion, use smokeless moxibustion sticks to gently moxibustion on the above acupoints for 10-15 minutes each time, with a distance of 3-5 cm from the acupoints. Moxibustion once a day until the acupoints feel warm and slightly red. Ten sessions make up one course of treatment.
