The eyes are the most vulnerable organ in the body to external stimuli. The eye muscles are under tension at all times except when the eyes are closed for rest. When you feel eye fatigue, the eye muscles are actually already severely overworked, causing not only pain and blurred vision, but also headache, heavy head, stiff shoulders and other symptoms. When your eyes are tired and congested, rest immediately and then do the following self-massage movements that can eliminate eye fatigue.

Press the eyeball hair method

With eyes closed, gently press the eyeballs with the ends of the index, middle and ring fingers, you can also rotate and rub lightly, do not last too long or rub hard, stop in about 20 seconds.

Pressing between the eyebrows method

Apply the abdomen of the thumb to the recess below the root of the eyebrow and gently press or rotate. Repeat 3 times. Look away from your eyes and turn your eyeballs in an up-and-down direction toward the right, without shaking your head. Blinking and closing the eyes with force can also eliminate eye strain.

Press the forehead method

Three fingers of each hand rotate and rub from the center of the forehead to the left and right temples, and then press the temples with force, using the finger force to apply pressure. This will give a comfortable feeling at the bottom of the eyes. Repeat 3 to 5 times.

Pressing acupuncture points

Anyone who has done eye exercises knows that your eyes feel incredibly relaxed and comfortable after doing them. Although you are not in school anymore, you can effectively relieve eye fatigue by rubbing the eyelid point, Zanzhu point, solar plexus point and Fengchi point during your free time at work. Stimulating other acupuncture points, such as the Si Bai point and Cheng Jiao point, can also have the effect of eliminating eye strain.

Wipe the eyes with both palms across

Rub both hands together, open your eyes, put your hands vertically over your face, put your palm roots against your eyes, put your fingers together against your forehead, and slowly wipe your hands from the middle of your eyebrows to both sides of your head, 30 times. Can effectively relieve eye fatigue, enhance the optic nerve and eye muscle function.
