Glutinous Rice Vine is a dried whole herb with roots. The roots are thick, fleshy, and cone-shaped, with supporting roots. The surface is light reddish-brown and not easily broken. The cross-section is slightly rough and light brownish-yellow. The stems are yellow-brown.
The leaves are mostly broken, dark green, rough, and hairy. After being moistened and flattened, 3 main veins and prominent reticulate veins can be seen on the back. Sometimes clustered flowers or fruits can be seen, with egg-shaped fruits with pointed tops and about 10 thin longitudinal ridges. It has a slight aroma and a mild taste.

【Cultivation Methods of Glutinous Rice Vine】
Glutinous Rice Vine grows in shady and wet places in valley forests and along foot of mountains and water ditches. It is distributed in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Hunan, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangdong, Guangxi, and other regions. It is produced in Sichuan, Guizhou, Zhejiang, and other places.
1. Biological Characteristics
Glutinous Rice Vine has strong adaptability to climate and soil, and prefers moist and fertile sandy loam.
2. Cultivation Techniques
Glutinous Rice Vine is propagated by seeds. In Sichuan, it is sown from March to April. After ploughing, open 1.3m wide ridges. Dig holes with a row spacing of about 26cm, a depth of about 7cm, and a wide and flat bottom.
After applying animal manure, sow 7.5kg of seeds per hectare, mix them with grass ash and animal manure, and scatter them in the holes.
3. Field Management
