Weight loss is a perennial topic that never goes away, and there are countless methods for losing weight. One of the latest methods is using vomiting to lose weight. So, what is this method like? Below are the commonly used techniques for those who use vomiting to lose weight.

Gagging with Fingers

Gagging with fingers is the most common method when it comes to using vomiting for weight loss. After eating, insert the index and middle fingers into the mouth and place them on the tongue. Move the fingertips along the tongue towards the back of the throat. When the back of the throat is reached, press down with the fingertips to induce vomiting. This method utilizes the gag reflex to induce vomiting.

Brushing the Tongue with a Toothbrush

Brushing the tongue with a toothbrush can also cause nausea and vomiting, and it is a common method used by many people who induce vomiting for weight loss.

Gastric Lavage for Vomiting

When manual stimulation is not effective in inducing vomiting, some individuals choose to use a gastric lavage tube. The medical-grade tube is inserted from the mouth all the way to the stomach to achieve effective vomiting.

Natural Vomiting

Some individuals who have been inducing vomiting for weight loss long-term have developed a mechanism where they can vomit after eating without external stimulation.
