Liposuction breast augmentation is actually an autologous fat breast augmentation, which can effectively improve the problem of small breasts, but there are also some risks, and the following sequelae may remain if the surgery is not successful.
Inflammation and infection
After the fat is transplanted to the breast, it needs to rely on the surrounding tissues to obtain nutrients and survive. If too much fat is transplanted to the breasts during liposuction, the fat that does not receive nutrients will become ischemic and necrotic, which can easily lead to infection.
Bleeding during surgery
During the injection process of breast augmentation with autologous fat, if the tiny blood vessels of the breast are injured, or if the coagulation mechanism of the breast augmentation patient is impaired, or if the pressure bandage is improperly applied after the surgery, it will cause bleeding, and the post-operative hematoma and seroma will be serious.
Fat calcification forming cysts
If the necrotic fat tissue after liposuction breast augmentation is not absorbed by the body in time, it will produce cysts in the body for a long time, and slowly fibrosis and calcification will form hard lumps.
Bilateral breast asymmetry
When liposuction breast augmentation is performed, the amount of fat transplanted to the left and right breast is different, or the amount of fat that survives after transplantation differs greatly between the left and right sides, resulting in asymmetry in the size of both sides of the breast. This situation requires a second grafting to repair.
Breast deformation
Due to uneven absorption of fat at the injection point, local depression and deformation may occur after breast augmentation surgery. In addition, wearing underwear with steel rings immediately after liposuction breast augmentation or squeezing and bumping the breasts may also affect the recovery and lead to breast deformation.
