Instructions

2. Peel and cut the papaya into chunks.

3. Put water in a pot and boil. Add tremella, red dates, and taojiao. Simmer on low heat.

Taojiao, Soap Rice, Red Date, and Goji Berry Soup

Ingredients

15g taojiao, 15g soap rice, 10g goji berries, 5 red dates, rock sugar

Instructions

1. Soak the taojiao for more than 15 hours.

2. Soak the soap rice for more than 10 hours.

3. Wash the goji berries, a few red dates, and clean the impurities from the taojiao.

4. Put all the ingredients in a double boiler, add enough water, and skim off any impurities.

5. Stew in a double boiler for two hours, add rock sugar, and it's ready to eat.

Taojiao, Rose, and Snow Pear Soup

Ingredients

30g taojiao, 20g soap rice, 3 slices of snow pear, 3 dried roses, 10g dried cranberries, 20g rock sugar, 1500ml purified water

Instructions

1. Soak the taojiao for 4-6 hours, soak the soap rice in warm water for 4 hours.

2. Put them in a pot, add an appropriate amount of water and rock sugar, simmer on low heat for 2 hours.

3. Then add the snow pear and simmer for another hour. Sprinkle rose petals on top when serving.

Taojiao Fruit Salad

Ingredients

Taojiao, mango, dragon fruit, and rock sugar.

Instructions

1. Soak the taojiao in water for more than half a day.

2. Boil the soaked taojiao in plenty of water, simmer on low heat for about 1.5 hours until the taojiao becomes soft and the soup thickens.

3. Add rock sugar according to taste and let it cool.

4. Cut the fruits into small pieces and add them to the cooled taojiao.

White Jade Taojiao Pudding

Ingredients

2 egg whites, 220ml milk, 15g taojiao, powdered sugar, rock sugar, water

Instructions

1. Wash the taojiao with water and soak it for a day and night until it becomes soft without hard lumps.

2. Tear the soaked taojiao into small pieces and add water just enough to cover the taojiao.

3. Bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for about 25 minutes until the mixture thickens.

4. Add rock sugar and simmer for a few more minutes, stirring constantly to prevent sticking.

5. Separate the egg whites using an egg separator. Pour half of the milk into the egg whites and heat the remaining milk in a microwave-safe container.

6. Add powdered sugar to the milk, microwave for 30 seconds until the powdered sugar melts, then pour the heated milk into the egg whites and mix well.

7. Sift the egg and milk mixture twice, pour it into a container, and steam over high heat for about 15 minutes until the mixture solidifies. Let the steamed pudding cool slightly.

8. Spread the cooked taojiao on top of the pudding.
