Chuanmutong, mainly produced in Shaanxi, Gansu, Fujian, Sichuan, Tibet, Guizhou, Yunnan, Taiwan, etc. It is the dried stem of the Ranunculaceae plant Clematis armandii or Clematis chinensis. Chuanmutong has the effects of promoting diuresis, clearing the heart and relieving restlessness, and regulating menstruation and promoting lactation.
