The efficacy and effects of Aconite

Caulophyllum is the dried and mature fruit with involucre of Caulophyllum, a genus of Asteraceae. It is mainly produced in Shandong, Jiangsu, Hubei and other places. Cang Er Zi is warm, pungent, bitter, poisonous, and belongs to the lung meridian. It has the function of dispersing wind and cold, clearing nasal passages, dispelling wind and dampness, and relieving pain.

Dispersing wind-cold

Cang Er Zi is pungent, warm, and dispersing, which can disperse wind-cold, open the nasal passages, and relieve pain, and can be used for treating external wind-cold, vicious cold and fever, head and body pain, nasal congestion and runny nose, and other uncomfortable symptoms. Side effects

The main mechanism of poisoning of C. diff. is that C. diff. is a cytoplasmic poison, which can damage the kidney, liver and other substantive organs, causing turbidity and swelling, necrosis, capillary dilation and increased vascular permeability, causing extensive hemorrhage and death secondary to brain tissue edema. It can also cause digestive and nervous system dysfunction.

Contraindications to the use of Aconite

Cang Er Zi is pungent, warm and dry, so it should not be taken by people with Yin deficiency and blood heat. Since Caulophyllum is toxic, excessive doses can cause poisoning, so it should not be taken in excess.
