Taking Care of Dry Hair: Natural Remedies and Tips

October 21, 2023

Dry hair refers to hair that lacks moisture, lacks shine, and is prone to breakage. So how can we take care of dry hair?

Egg whites for hair washing

Take one egg and set aside the egg whites. After thoroughly washing your hair, evenly apply the egg whites to your hair. After 20 minutes, rinse with warm water. The rich protein in egg whites can bind with the surface of the hair, increase hair nutrition, repair damaged hair, and effectively alleviate hair splitting and dryness.

Egg yolk hair treatment

Take one raw egg yolk and a small cup of brandy, mix them evenly and set aside. After washing your hair with shampoo, wait for your hair to dry, then evenly apply the mixture of egg yolk and brandy to your hair. After about 15 minutes, rinse with warm water. This method can make dry hair soft and elastic.

Beer therapy

After washing your hair, towel dry it, then unevenly apply an appropriate amount of beer to your hair, and continuously massage your scalp for 15 minutes. Finally, rinse your hair with warm water, and repeat the previous steps with an appropriate amount of beer. This method can make your hair shiny, prevent dryness and hair loss, and promote hair growth.

Plant oil therapy

This method is particularly suitable for those whose hair is prone to breakage due to dryness. First, wash your hair, then evenly apply a small spoonful of plant oil to your hair, and then cover your head with a heated plastic cap. After about 20 minutes, remove the cap and wash your hair thoroughly to remove the oil.

Tips for caring for dry hair

In daily hair care, try to avoid using alkaline shampoos for dry hair. Pay attention to sun protection and eat more walnuts, peanuts, sesame, etc., to supplement the secretion of oil from the hair roots. At the same time, choose a good hair conditioner and maintain regular care.
