The difference between pure milk and fresh milk

Milk is the most commonly used liquid nutritional supplements in life, there are also many different varieties, of which pure milk and fresh milk are the most drunk, so what are the differences between this pure milk and fresh milk?

Different sterilization methods

Fresh milk: Fresh milk is made from fresh cow's milk and is processed by heating at a low temperature of 85°C. Therefore, it is also called pasteurized milk. Pure milk: Pure milk is also made from fresh cow's milk, but the temperature during autoclaving is extremely high, requiring an instant temperature of at least 130°C.

Different shelf life

Fresh milk: Fresh milk is only processed by low temperature to inactivate most of the bacteria, but there are still some high temperature resistant bacteria surviving, the shelf life of this milk will not be very long, usually can be kept for 5~7 days. Pure milk: pure milk is only instantly heated, but the instantaneous temperature is too high, so that all the bacteria in the milk are eliminated, the shelf life will be much longer, and can be stored at room temperature for 1 to 3 months.

Different nutritional values

Fresh milk: The heating treatment of fresh milk is pasteurization, the temperature is lower, although the time is longer, but the loss of nutrients of milk is very small, the nutritional value is high. Pure milk: pure milk is heated at high temperature, although the heating time is shorter, but the loss of nutrients in the milk is more, and the nutritional value is much lower than fresh milk.

Different price

Fresh milk: Fresh milk is by far the most consumed type of milk due to less nutritional damage, and is higher in price than regular pure milk. Pure milk: Pure milk has no more than 10% of the market share and a lower price, with no advantages other than a longer shelf life.
