【Clinical applications of Wuzhafeng】
1. Chronic bronchitis
Wuzhafeng (Ficus hirta) 60g, Pengqianshi (Rhododendron simsii) 24g, Gonggaiye (Vitis thunbergii) 30g, Ganmomi (Houttuynia cordata) 12g, Baimianfeng (Senecio scandens) 9g, Jiemomei (Celastrus orbiculatus) 15g, decocted in water and taken twice a day.
2. Anemia
Wuzhafeng (Ficus hirta), Maloushuang (Eucommia ulmoides), Jiucengfeng (Paederia scandens), Jieduanpang (Nymphoides peltatum), Zoumafeng (Ipomoea carnea) 15g each, stewed with pig's trotters and taken.
3. Cardiac diseases, such as angina and coronary heart disease
Wuzhafeng (Ficus hirta), Jiucengfeng (Paederia scandens), Jiulongzuan (Polygonum multiflorum), Baowanfeng (Lindera aggregate), Sifangzuan (Aristolochia contorta) 10-15g each, decocted in water. For coronary heart disease, add Congliang (Litsea cubeba) fruit.

【Botanical description of Wuzhafeng】
Wuzhafeng is a climbing shrub. The stem is densely covered with stiff hairs and brown long hairs. The leaves are alternate, slightly round, 8-13cm long, 6.5-13cm wide, palmately 5-lobed; the lobes are wide-lanceolate, sharply pointed at the apex, heart-shaped at the base, with irregular serrations on the edges, smooth and hairless on the upper surface, and densely hairy along the veins on the lower surface; the petiole is 6-10cm long, covered with fine prickles and long hairs; the stipules are deeply divided like feathers.
The flowers are clustered in the leaf axils, sessile; the sepals are 5-lobed, lanceolate; hairy on the outside; the petals are 5, pale yellow; numerous stamens; numerous pistils. The aggregate fruit is spherical and red. The flowering period is from May to June.
