Clinical manifestations of enuresis due to insufficient kidney qi in children:


Sleep enuresis, occurring 1-2 times or more during the night, with no awareness upon waking up. Other symptoms may include pale complexion, low intelligence, slow reaction, weak and sore waist and knees, cold hands and feet, pale tongue, slow and weak pulse, and pale fingerprints.

 



【Stewed Dog Meat with Black Beans】 
Ingredients: 150g dog meat, 20g black beans.
Method: Boil the dog meat with water and cooking wine, remove the foam, and simmer over low heat until very tender. Season to taste.
Efficacy: Warm and tonify the kidneys.
Usage: Consume within a day, 15 days for one course of treatment.
 
【Hawthorn and Garlic Chive Drink】 
Ingredients: 15g hawthorn, 30g garlic chives.
Method: Boil the hawthorn for about 20 minutes, then add the garlic chives and boil for a short time. Strain the liquid to remove residue.
Efficacy: Warm and tonify yang and nourish the kidneys.
Usage: Drink as a tea substitute.
 
【Sparrow Congee】 
Ingredients: 5 sparrows, a little white wine, 3 scallion whites, 60g polished rice.
Method: First, drown the sparrows in water, wash them, and stir-fry until cooked. Add a little white wine and simmer for 5 minutes. Then add the polished rice and enough water, and cook together. When the congee is nearly cooked, add the scallion whites and simmer for a while.
Efficacy: Warm and tonify kidney qi.
Usage: Eat as desired in the morning and evening.
