【Composition】

Diabetic peripheral neuropathy and lower extremity vascular disease.

【Dosage】

The above Chinese herbal medicines are boiled with 3000ml of water, prepared and used immediately. The water temperature should be 38-42℃ (note that the water temperature should not be too hot to prevent scalding). The medicine should immerse both ankles inside and outside the ankle joints by 2 inches. It is used once every other day for 30 minutes each time. A course of treatment consists of 10 times, totaling 5 courses.

【Introduction to Medicinal Materials】

Angelica sinensis: Mainly used to nourish and invigorate blood, regulate menstruation and relieve pain, moisturize dryness and lubricate the intestines. It treats irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, abdominal pain due to accumulation of mass, menstrual disorders, blood deficiency headache, dizziness, weakness and paralysis, difficult bowel movements due to dryness, and recurrent dysentery.

Ligusticum chuanxiong: Activates blood circulation, promotes qi flow, dispels wind, and relieves pain. Used for chest pain, chest and rib pain, swelling and pain from falls and injuries, irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, abdominal pain due to stagnation of blood and mass, headache, and rheumatic pain.

Carthamus tinctorius: Activates blood circulation, regulates menstruation, dispels stasis, and relieves pain. Used for amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, postpartum lochia retention, abdominal masses, chest pain, chest and rib pain, falls and injuries, abscesses and painful swelling.

Paeonia lactiflora: Dispels stasis, relieves pain, cools blood, and reduces swelling. Used for stagnation of blood leading to amenorrhea, hernia and masses, abdominal pain, rib pain, bleeding, bloody dysentery, blood in stools, red eyes, and boils and swelling.

Capsella bursa-pastoris: Dispels wind and dampness, invigorates joints, and detoxifies. Used for rheumatic pain, weakness of tendons and bones, lumbago and weakness of the knees, numbness of the limbs, hemiplegia, and wind rash and damp ulcers.
