  Ganshan Whip is an erect herbaceous plant, about 60 centimeters tall. The upper part branches more, with round branches, scattered black dots, and raised longitudinal ribs on both sides.

  Leaves are opposite, ovate to elongate, 1 to 2.5 centimeters long, 0.3 to 1 centimeter wide, gradually narrowing at the base, partially clasping the stem, with black glandular dots on the edges.

  Umbel inflorescence terminal; sepals 5, ovate; petals 5, elongate oval, blunt at the apex, with multiple veins; stamens numerous, fused into 3 bundles at the base; ovary 3-celled, with 3 styles; bracts, sepals, petal edges, and anther apices all have black glandular dots. Capsule. Flowering period is from July to August.
