Medicinal Food Therapy Recipes for Treating Arthritis: Natural Remedies for Pain Relief

Ingredients: 15g Sanqi, 20g Danshen, 30g Chicken Blood Vine, 300g Glutinous Rice.

Method: 1. Wash the Sanqi, Danshen, and Chicken Blood Vine, and boil them in a sufficient amount of water to extract the concentrated juice.

2. Cook the glutinous rice into congee, and when the congee is almost done, add the medicinal juice and cook for a while.

Efficacy: Promotes blood circulation, removes blood stasis, and relieves pain. It is used for joint pain caused by blood stasis and poor circulation of meridians.

2. Chinese Yam and Black Snake Soup

Ingredients: 500g Black Snake Meat, 15g Chinese Yam, 10g Poria, 10g Coix Seed, 5 slices of Ginger, Salt, and Lard as needed.

Method: 1. Wash the black snake meat and cut it into small pieces. Put it into a clay pot with Chinese Yam, Poria, and Coix Seed. Add a sufficient amount of water and boil.

2. Add lard, salt, ginger, monosodium glutamate, and other seasonings. Drink the soup and eat the meat.

Efficacy: Eliminates rheumatism. Black snake meat has the functions of dispelling rheumatism and detoxification. When used with dampness-dispelling herbs such as Coix Seed and Poria, it enhances the rheumatism-dispelling effect of the snake meat. Therefore, this recipe has a good auxiliary therapeutic effect on rheumatoid arthritis and rheumatism.

3. Duhuo and Black Bean Soup

Ingredients: 12g Duhuo, 60g Black Beans, a small amount of Rice Wine.

Method: Put Duhuo and black beans into water, simmer over low heat for 2 hours, extract the juice, and mix it with rice wine. Take it warm twice a day.

Efficacy: Dispels wind and dampness, activates blood circulation, and relieves pain. Suitable for rheumatoid arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis caused by wind-dampness obstruction.

4. Sichuan Lovage Rhizome Porridge

Ingredients: 2g Processed Sichuan Lovage Rhizome, 10 drops of Ginger Juice, 30g Glutinous Rice, Honey as needed.

Method: 1. Grind the Sichuan Lovage Rhizome into powder. Wash the glutinous rice and put it together in a clay pot. Add a sufficient amount of water and boil. After boiling, add the Sichuan Lovage Rhizome. Simmer over low heat for 2-3 hours.

2. After the rice is cooked, add ginger juice and honey, stir well, and boil for another 1-2 minutes.

5. Mulberry Fruit and Mulberry Twig Wine

Ingredients: 500g Fresh Mulberry Fruit, 100g Fresh Mulberry Twig, 500g Brown Sugar, 1000g White Wine.

Method: Wash the mulberry twigs, cut them into pieces, and soak them with mulberry fruit and brown sugar in wine. It can be consumed after one month.
