The seeds attached to both ends of the pod are round on one side and flat on the other, while the seeds in the middle of the pod are flat on both sides. They are approximately 4cm long and 3cm thick. The surface is reddish-brown to black-brown, shiny, and may have a thin grayish-white film. The hilum is located in the middle waist depression.
There are two cotyledons, which are thick and horny, easily longitudinally split. There are irregular protrusions around the hilum, causing longitudinal splitting of the cotyledons. The smell is faint, and the taste is initially mild and then becomes a tingling sensation.
