The Therapeutic Benefits of Chicken Meat: Nourishing Yin and Yang

According to traditional Chinese medicine, chicken meat is considered yang and has a strong warming effect. It is more suitable for patients with yang deficiency and weak qi.  Chicken Broth Porridge: 1000ml chicken broth, 50g rice. Wash the rice, skim the surface oil from the chicken broth, put them together in a pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat until the porridge is cooked. Eat it twice a day for breakfast and dinner. It can nourish qi and blood, calm the five organs, and is suitable for patients with deficiency of essence and blood, insufficient kidney qi, postpartum malnutrition, and post-abortion qi and blood deficiency.
 

 
 

 Chicken and Longan Soup: One young rooster, 30g longan. Chop the young rooster into pieces, blanch to remove blood, put it together with longan in a casserole, add cooking wine and an appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, and then simmer over low heat until the chicken is tender. Add salt to taste and serve as a dish or dessert. This soup has a warming effect on the kidneys and strengthens yang. It is suitable for patients with frequent urination or bedwetting caused by kidney yang deficiency. If the symptoms are severe, you can also add 12g of cistanche.
