Chinese herbal medicine "Di Shao Gua" is the whole plant of the Cucurbitaceae family plants Di Shao Gua or Que Piao. Also known as Nv Qing, Shan Jiao, Di Gua Er, Yang Bu Nai Guo, Xiao Si Gua. It is distributed in Northeast China, North China, Henan, Shanxi, Shandong, Anhui, Gansu, Xinjiang and other places. Di Shao Gua can be used externally to treat warts.

[What is Di Shao Gua?]
The stem of Di Shao Gua branches from the base. Leaves are opposite or nearly opposite; leaf blades are linear, 3-5cm long, 2-5mm wide, with raised midribs on the lower surface; umbel inflorescences are axillary; the calyx is covered with soft hairs on the outside;
The corolla is green and white; the corolla tube is cup-shaped, and the lobes are triangular-lanceolate, gradually closing, higher than the membrane of the ovary. The fruit is spindle-shaped, gradually pointed at the apex, swollen in the middle, 5-6cm long and about 2cm in diameter.
The seeds are flat, dark brown, up to 8mm long, and the seed hairs are white and silky, up to 2cm long. The flowering period of Di Shao Gua is from May to August, and the fruiting period is from August to October.
[External Use of Di Shao Gua to Treat Warts]
Traditional Chinese medicine believes that Di Shao Gua has the effects of clearing deficient fire, benefiting qi, generating body fluids, and promoting lactation. It is mainly used to treat inflammation of deficient fire in the upper body, sore throat; deficiency of qi and yin, fatigue and forgetfulness, restless, thirsty, dizzy, and insomnia; postpartum weakness, insufficient milk production.
1. "Inner Mongolia Herbal Medicine": "Clears heat, reduces inflammation, relieves pain, promotes lactation. Mainly used for blocked milk production, sore throat."
2. "Qingdao Herbal Medicine Manual": "Mainly used for deficiency of qi and blood, neurasthenia, swollen and painful throat."
3. "National Herbal Medicine Compilation": "Benefits qi, promotes lactation. Mainly used for deficiency of the body and insufficient milk production. Can be used externally to treat warts."
Dosage and Administration:
Oral: 15-30g of Di Shao Gua, decocted.
