【Morphological characteristics of female withering plant】
The stems of the female withering plant are square in shape, can grow up to several meters long, and can be twined or cut into segments. The diameter is 1-5mm, with a gray-green or brown-green surface, usually with 6 more obvious longitudinal ridges;
It is covered with white soft hairs, brittle texture, easy to break, the cross-section is not flat, the wood is yellow-white, and most fine ducts can be seen, with loose medullary.
The leaves are opposite, trifoliate, and the leaflets are wrinkled and broken. The intact leaflets are ovate or broadly ovate, with the top leaflet larger than the two side leaflets, often showing three shallow lobes that are not obvious;
The edges have serrated or tooth-like coarse serrations, dark green, and short soft hairs on both sides. The petiole of the compound leaf is 2-9cm long and often twisted. Some have flowers and fruits. It has a weak scent and a slightly bitter and astringent taste.
