Effects: Tonifies the middle, benefits qi, harmonizes the stomach, and moistens the lungs. Used to treat tuberculosis with bloody sputum.
Remedy 4: Carrot and Honey Soup
Ingredients: Carrot 1000g, honey 100g, alum 3g.
Method: Wash and slice the carrot, add 350g of water, boil for 20 minutes, remove the residue and extract the juice. Add honey and alum, stir well, and boil for a moment. Take 50g three times a day.
Effects: Expectorant and cough suppressant. Suitable for cough with white sputum, tuberculosis with bloody cough, and other symptoms.
Remedy 5: Rehmannia and Duck Soup
Ingredients: 1 duck, 20g rehmannia, 3 slices of ginger, seasoning as needed.
Method: Remove the duck feathers and clean, cut into pieces. Wrap the remaining ingredients in a cloth and put them in the pot. Add an appropriate amount of water and cook until the duck is cooked. Remove the cloth and season to taste before serving.

Remedy 6: Tremella and Pigeon Egg Soup
Ingredients: 2g tremella, 20g rock sugar, 1 pigeon egg.
Method: Soak the tremella in water for 20 minutes, then crush it. Add 400g of water and bring to a boil, then add the rock sugar and simmer until the tremella is soft. Then open the pigeon egg, steam it over low heat for 3 minutes, and add it to the cooked tremella soup. Bring to a boil. Drink the soup and eat the tremella and pigeon egg.
