【Methods of Consuming Rhodiola rosea】

1. Take 6g of Rhodiola rosea and 50g of glutinous rice. First, decoct the Rhodiola rosea in water to remove impurities, then add rice to cook porridge. Add an appropriate amount of sugar to taste. It can be consumed regularly for health maintenance and anti-aging purposes.

2. Take 5g of Rhodiola rosea and steep it in water as a tea substitute. It can be used for adjuvant treatment of elderly heart failure, diabetes, neurosis, anemia, liver disease, etc.

3. Take 30g of high-altitude Rhodiola rosea, grind it into powder, fill it into capsules, with each capsule containing 0.2g of raw material. Take 2-3 capsules per dose, 3 times a day. It is suitable for the elderly and those with physical weakness.

4. Take an appropriate amount of fresh Rhodiola rosea, mash it into a paste, and apply it externally to promote blood circulation, stop bleeding, detoxify, and reduce swelling. It can be used for burns, bruises, and pain caused by injuries.

【Precautions for Using Rhodiola rosea】

1. Do not exceed the recommended dosage: Generally, Rhodiola rosea is relatively mild, and the daily dosage for most people is around 200-300mg.

Exceeding the recommended dosage may cause allergies, irritability, insomnia, high blood pressure, chest pain, anxiety, and occasional headaches.

In general, the dosage should not exceed 0.8g (calculated based on 3% rhodiosin content). However, reducing the dosage will usually restore normalcy.

2. Caution for those with spleen and stomach deficiency-cold: The dosage of Rhodiola rosea should not be excessive. It has a cooling nature, so it should be used with caution by those with weak spleen and stomach.

3. Not suitable for use during illness: If you feel unwell, have a cold or fever, or have inflammation in the body, it is not advisable to use Qi-tonifying herbs as it may worsen the condition.

4. Pregnant women and children should use with caution: Currently, there is no evidence regarding the safety and appropriateness of using Rhodiola rosea during pregnancy and lactation. Therefore, it is not recommended for pregnant women or nursing mothers to use Rhodiola rosea.
