【Seedling cultivation of Xishai grass】
Generally, Xishai grass seeds are sown in open fields from rainy season to spring equinox. The seedbed should be made into a regular high ridge, and the soil should be finely prepared. After sowing the seeds, step on the ridge to make the seeds adhere to the soil, and then thinly cover the ridge with loose organic fertilizer to prevent soil compaction and facilitate seedling emergence.
Another method is to gently rake the ridge surface after sowing, mix the seeds with the soil, then sprinkle water, and cover the ridge with a plastic film to keep it warm and promote germination.
To ensure that the Xishai grass seedlings are stout, the seeds should be sparsely sown rather than densely packed. When the seedlings are 1cm tall and have 4 true leaves, water them with very dilute liquid manure to promote their growth.
