  Collection and storage: Dig the whole grass with roots in spring and summer, wash it, and dry it in the sun or use it fresh.

  Original morphology of Yasong

  The Sedum elatinoides is an annual herb, 5-30cm tall. The whole plant is hairless. It has a fibrous root.

  The stem is solitary or clustered, branched or unbranched, with ribs on the stem, and adventitious roots often grow on the basal nodes. The leaves are whorled, 3-6 per node, without stalks or with a few stalks;

  The leaves are elongated spoon-shaped or narrowly lanceolate, 8-20mm long, 2-7mm wide, with a slightly blunt or acute tip, gradually narrowing at the base, and entire margins.

  The inflorescence is cone-shaped or umbrella-shaped, with long branches, sparse flowers, thin petals, 3-8mm long;

  There are 5 sepals, narrowly triangular to ovate-lanceolate, 2-1.5mm long, with a nearly acute tip, and 5 petals, white, lanceolate-ovate, 2-3mm long, with a acute tip and a separate base;

  There are 10 stamens in two whorls, shorter than the petals; there are 5 scale-like structures with notches at the apex;

  There are 5 pistils, elliptical in shape, fused at the base, with slight milk-like protrusions on the back.

  The fruit is a capsule, with the upper half inclined when mature. The seeds are ovate, brown, smooth, and 0.4mm long. The flowering period is from May to July, and the fruiting period is from August to September.
