Clinical manifestations of damp-heat type psoriasis:
In addition to the skin lesions, there are often shallow, aseptic pustules, which are more common in the palms and soles, but can also occur throughout the body. Severe cases may have fever, thirst, yellow urine, constipation or loose stools, red tongue, thick yellow coating, and rapid pulse.
Sea Kelp Water
Ingredients: 50-100 grams of sea kelp.
Method: Wash the sea kelp to remove salt and impurities, then soak it in warm water for 3 hours. Remove the sea kelp and keep the water for later use.
Efficacy: Clears heat, eliminates dampness, and detoxifies.
Usage: Use warm sea kelp water to wash the affected area.
Plantago Seed Coix Seed Congee
Ingredients: 30 grams of coix seed, 15 grams of plantago seed (wrapped in cloth), 9 grams of silk sand (wrapped in cloth).
Method: Boil the plantago seed and silk sand in water to extract the juice, then cook the coix seed with the medicinal juice to make a thin congee. Season with white sugar.
Efficacy: Clears heat, detoxifies, and promotes diuresis.
Usage: Take one dose daily, continue for 8-10 doses.
