Yao Ai Tiao, a prescription drug, excerpted from the "Chinese Pharmacopoeia", is used to promote qi and blood circulation, and dispel cold and dampness. It is used for wind-cold-dampness obstruction, muscle soreness, joint and limb pain, and cold and painful sensation in the epigastrium and abdomen.
 


 

  [Prescription Composition]

  2400g of Artemisiae Argyi Folium, 125g of Cinnamomi Ramulus, 125g of Alpiniae Officinarum Rhizoma, 50g of Agastache Rugosa Herba, 175g of Styrax, 50g of Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, 100g of Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, 50g of Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, 50g of Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix, and 75g of Caulis Spatholobi.

  [Characteristics and Specifications]

  It is cylindrical, measuring 20-21cm in length and 1.7-1.8cm in diameter. It has a fragrant smell and when ignited, it emits long-lasting, unique smoke that does not extinguish. Each stick weighs approximately 6g.

  [Processing Method]

  Take the ten ingredients, grind Artemisiae Argyi Folium into fluff, and grind the remaining ingredients of Cinnamomi Ramulus, etc. into fine powder, sift and mix them evenly. Take 20g of the fluff and evenly spread it on a piece of white cotton paper measuring 28cm long and 15cm wide, then evenly sprinkle 8g of the above-mentioned powder. Fold both ends of the paper about 6cm, roll it tightly into a stick, seal it, and dry it at low temperature.
