The fruit is composed of many aggregated fruits, shaped like pine cones, about 4cm long and 3-4cm in diameter, with a swollen base, purplish-brown on the outside, and brown on the inside.
After the fruit splits, two dark purple-red seeds can be seen. When peeling off the seed coat, there is a grayish-white and oily cotyledon, with a fragrant smell and a mild taste. It is best to be dry, intact and not broken.
