Medicinal uses of Wuzhao Feng
1. Treatment of intestinal obstruction
Take 4 liang of fresh Wuzhao Feng, mash it and squeeze out the juice. Mix it with an equal amount of infant stool and heat it slightly, then slowly drink it.
In winter, use dried Wuzhao Feng. Take 2 liang each time and make a decoction. Mix it with an equal amount of infant stool and drink it. It is equally effective.
If there is severe vomiting after taking the medicine and the medicine is expelled, the dosage should be replenished.
Take the medicine in small amounts multiple times. Generally, vomiting will not occur after the second dose. Several clinical trials have shown that it takes effect within 24 hours.
2. Treatment of tetanus
Take 30 grams of Yuzhucao (also known as whistle grass), 20 grams of Wuzhao Feng (also known as snake-containing grass), 20 grams of Cheqiancao (Plantago asiatica), and 10 grams of centipede.
Take once a day, decoct in water and drink frequently.

1. Wuzhao Feng Buddha's hand lean meat soup
Ingredients: 250 grams of lean pork, 60 grams of Wuzhao Feng, 10 grams of Buddha's hand, salt, and water as needed.
Method: Cut Wuzhao Feng into small pieces; wash Buddha's hand; wash the lean pork and cut it into pieces. Put all the ingredients into the pot together.
Add an appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer for 1-2 hours over low heat. Season with salt.
2. Wuzhao Feng pig trotter soup
Ingredients: 1 pig trotter, 100 grams of Wuzhao Feng, 5 red dates (pitted).
Method: Wash Wuzhao Feng and red dates; remove hair, hoof, and wash the pig trotter, then cut it into pieces. Boil them in boiling water for ten minutes, then remove and rinse with clean water.
Put all the ingredients into the pot, add an appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer for 2-3 hours over low heat. Season and serve.
