【Composition】
2 liang of Shuoxie root, 1 liang of white Caltrop, 1 liang of prepared Aconite (peeled and seeded), 1 liang of Angelica pubescens, 1 liang of rhinoceros horn shavings, 2 liang of rose root, 1 liang of white atractylodes, 1 liang of Saposhnikovia divaricata, 1 liang of Sophora flavescens;
1 liang of Sichuan asarum, 1 liang of moutan peony, 1 liang of radix scutellariae, 1 liang of Sichuan pepper, 1 liang of calamus, 1 liang of snakegourd seed, 1 liang of Chinese thorowax, 1 liang of bitter orange peel, 1 liang of wild pueraria.
【Main Uses】
Pruritus caused by wind, skin itching with blood when scratched.
【Usage and Dosage of Shuoxie Gao】
Apply to the affected area. Use repeatedly until healed.
【Preparation Method of Shuoxie Gao】
Grind the ingredients into fine powder, soak in vinegar for one night, then put them in a copper, stone, or silver pot the next morning. Slowly cook with 2 and a half catties of lard in the lunar month until the Atractylodes becomes red ointment. Filter out the residue and store in a porcelain container.
