【Botanical Description】Gaolu
Evergreen shrub, similar in appearance to tea but with thicker branches. Leaves are oblong, 10-15 cm long and 5-7 cm wide, with serrated edges. White flowers grow in the axils of the leaves, slightly larger than tea flowers. The calyx has 5 petals and numerous stamens. The ovary is superior and the flower stalk is long. The fruit is round and flat. Blooms in autumn.
Distributed in Yunnan, Sichuan, and other regions.
