Recently, I have been experiencing severe hair loss and feeling very frustrated. There are many causes of hair loss, and Traditional Chinese Medicine teaches you a technique to massage the scalp to prevent hair loss!
Using both hands, use your ten fingers to comb your hair from the front hairline to the back hairline, repeating this motion 20 times.
Close your five fingers and use them to tap and peck along five lines on the head: the midline of the Governing Vessel from front to back, with a moderate amount of force that may cause a slight discomfort under the skin; then tap and peck along the Bladder Meridian on both sides of the head from front to back; finally, tap and peck along the Gallbladder Meridian on the sides of the head from front to back.
Repeat this process five times for each line. You can use one hand or both hands simultaneously.
Spread your five fingers on the scalp and use a rubbing motion from front to back, creating a warm sensation on the scalp. Repeat this for two minutes.
Use your middle finger to massage the Baihui acupoint at the center of the head 20 times, then use both thumbs to massage the Fengchi acupoint below the posterior superior iliac spine behind the ears 20 times. Finally, use one thumb to massage the Hegu acupoint on the opposite side 20 times, and repeat the same process on the other side.
If hair loss is severe, it is necessary to undergo a comprehensive examination to rule out any underlying diseases. When experiencing hair loss, it is important to supplement nutrition, ensure adequate rest, and also consume fresh vegetables and fruits.
Maintain a light and balanced diet. Regularly supplement your diet with nutrients such as soybeans, black beans, walnuts, and sesame seeds, as these foods promote rapid hair growth.
It is also recommended to consume foods rich in vitamin E, such as celery, amaranth, spinach, wolfberry leaves, mustard greens, and golden needle vegetables. These foods can supplement the body with the necessary vitamins and also inhibit sebum secretion.
