"Di Da Lao" is a woody plant with alternate leaves. It is a shrub or small tree, 2-5m tall. The small branches are covered with long, yellow, stiff hairs, which soon fall off. The leaves are nearly leathery, with 4-5 whorls; lanceolate or inverted lanceolate elliptic, 10-22cm long, 2-6cm wide;
