Effects and Functions of Zhu Ye Shen
Zhu Ye Shen has the effects of clearing heat, detoxification, and soothing tendons. It is used to treat conditions such as persistent high fever, steaming bone syndrome, rheumatic paralysis, joint and lower back pain, dysmenorrhea, excessive menstruation, abscesses, boils, bruises, and fractures.
"Shaanxi Chinese Herbal Medicine": "Nourishes yin, supplements deficiency, dispels wind and dampness, activates collaterals, and relieves pain. Used for deficiency syndrome, steaming bone syndrome, tuberculosis, palpitations, shortness of breath, rheumatic lower back and leg pain, sciatica."
"Yunnan Chinese Herbal Medicine": "Facilitates bone healing, stops bleeding, reduces inflammation, and relieves pain, dispels wind and dampness."

Methods of Consuming Zhu Ye Shen
Ingredients: Bai Gen Yao, Zhu Ye Shen (3-5 qian), Dang Gui Tou (20g), Huang Qi (20g), Dang Shen (20g), Huai Shan (20g), Bai He (20g), Hong Zao (10g), Gou Qi Zi (10g), Ginger slices (2 pieces).
Directions:
1. Remove the internal organs and head and tail of the black chicken and wash it.
2. Wash all the herbs and soak them in a small amount of water for a while.
3. Place the black chicken in a soup pot and pour in enough water. Heat over high heat and skim off any foam.
4. Pour the soaked water and herbs into the pot. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 2 hours. Add salt to taste before serving.
