    Difference between Gypsum and Lime

    Gypsum:

Gypsum is a monoclinic crystal mineral, with its main chemical composition being hydrated calcium sulfate (CaSO4).

Gypsum is a widely used industrial and building material.

It can be used as a cement retarder, gypsum building products, model making, medical food additives, sulfuric acid production, paper filler, paint filler, etc.

    Lime:

Lime is an inorganic cementitious material mainly composed of calcium oxide.

Lime is produced by calcining limestone, dolomite, chalk, shells, and other high calcium carbonate content materials at 900-1100°C.

Lime is the earliest cementitious material used by humans. Lime has a wide range of applications in civil engineering and can also be used in medicine in our country.
