Treating Lymphadenitis: Traditional Chinese Medicine and Dietary Therapies

January 3, 2024

The cause of lymphadenitis is the phenomenon of lymph nodes increasing in size due to internal cell proliferation or infiltration of tumor cells. Lymph node enlargement is very common in clinical practice and can occur in any age group. It can be seen in a variety of diseases, both benign and malignant. Therefore, it is very important to pay attention to the causes of lymph node enlargement, seek medical attention and get a diagnosis in a timely manner to avoid misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis.

In terms of the treatment of lymphadenitis, Western medicine currently does not have the ability to reverse its pathology. Patients can only use antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, and local injections to alleviate symptoms, but cannot fundamentally cure the disease. In comparison, traditional Chinese medicine, which emphasizes holistic treatment and seeks to treat the root cause of the disease, has long been studied and has achieved very ideal clinical treatment effects with traditional black plaster that is good at clearing heat and detoxification, promoting blood circulation, and resolving stasis.
